Workplace Recovery & Wellbeing
Supportive, stigma-free coaching for staff affected by stress, substance use or burnoutEmotional Resilience at Work
Helping staff respond to stress in healthier ways
Chronic stress and emotional overload are silent productivity killers. I help employees develop tools to manage pressure, regulate emotions and build resilience, so they can show up more present, focused, and engaged.
Lived Experience Support
Human-first coaching that meets people where they are
With over a decade in recovery myself, I understand the real-life challenges people face. I offer compassionate, confidential support that builds trust, helping staff feel safe, seen, and supported without fear of judgement.
Non-Judgemental Accountability
Encouraging ownership and progress, not perfection
I help employees take honest stock of what’s not working, explore better coping strategies, and make sustainable changes, without shame, blame, or pressure. It’s about small steps, done consistently.
Confidence and Encouragement
Supporting staff to thrive. Not just survive
Many employees are just getting by. I help them reconnect with their strengths, acknowledge their progress, and build belief in themselves again, boosting morale, engagement and self-efficacy at work.
Clarity, Goals and Growth
Turning recovery into resilience and results
Whether it’s navigating burnout or shifting unhelpful coping habits, I support staff to set clear goals and move forward. This work improves focus, energy and wellbeing, leading to better outcomes for everyone.
Support Recovery & Resilience in the Workplace, Without Shame or Stigma
Is your workplace ready to offer compassionate, effective support for staff facing stress, burnout, or substance use?
Many employees are silently struggling. They’re overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or using alcohol or other substances just to cope. Traditional support options often come too late or feel impersonal. That’s where Recovery Coaching can make a real difference.
With over 10 years of lived recovery experience and professional training, I work with employees to
- Explore their challenges without shame or judgement
- Build self-awareness and healthier coping strategies
- Take ownership of their wellbeing in a way that’s sustainable and empowering
This isn’t about labels or ticking boxes. It’s about meeting people where they are, offering real support, and helping them move forward, at their own pace, in their own way.
Recovery at work is possible. And when it’s supported well, it leads to healthier staff, stronger teams, and a more resilient organisation.
What Is Workplace Recovery Coaching?
Workplace Recovery Coaching offers confidential, one-to-one support for employees affected by stress, burnout, or substance use.
It’s a compassionate, judgement-free service that helps staff build resilience, explore healthier coping strategies, and feel supported in their recovery or wellbeing journey. This kind of coaching sits alongside existing workplace support and bridges the gap between crisis interventions and everyday reality.
Confidential, Open-Minded Support
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. I never tell employees what they should do. Instead, I create a safe, judgement-free space where they can explore what recovery or wellbeing looks like for them. I support each person to find the tools and pathways that feel right and realistic in their own life and role.
Focused on Strengths and Forward Momentum
I do not believe people are powerless. Everyone has strengths, values, and inner resources they can build on. My role is to help staff reconnect with those strengths and take meaningful steps forward. Whether they are changing habits or navigating long-term recovery, we focus on sustainable, positive progress.
Supportive Accountability
I do not make decisions for people, but I do help them stay accountable to the ones they choose. Coaching offers structure, encouragement and gentle challenge. When things feel overwhelming or motivation dips, I provide a steady presence and help people stay connected to their goals.
A Compassionate Guide Through the Recovery Journey
Recovery can feel isolating, especially when someone is trying to hold it together at work. I offer empathy, practical guidance, and emotional support. I help staff make sense of what they are feeling, and I celebrate every step forward with them, no matter how small.
Is Workplace Recovery Coaching Right for Your Organisation?
Recovery coaching can be a powerful, life-changing intervention. But like any form of support, it works best when the conditions are right. For coaching to have a meaningful impact, both the individual and the workplace need to be on board with creating a supportive environment for growth.
Here’s how you know coaching is a good fit…
Your organisation is committed to creating a culture of compassion
Coaching thrives in workplaces where psychological safety matters. If your culture values trust, openness, and early intervention, then coaching can complement your wellbeing strategy and provide targeted, person-centred support where it’s needed most.
The individual is ready to take ownership of their wellbeing
Coaching isn’t about advice or quick fixes. It’s a collaborative process that supports individuals to explore what’s going on for them, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward with clarity and confidence. It works best for employees who are ready to reflect, take responsibility, and engage with the process.
There is active support from managers or wellbeing leads
While coaching is confidential, employees benefit enormously from knowing they are backed by their organisation. Whether that’s flexible time for sessions, permission to step away for wellbeing, or simply a kind conversation, practical support from managers reinforces the value of the work and reduces stigma.
You want to find your own pathway of recovery
There is no step by step guide in recovery coaching. Your coach knows that the person who knows you best, and what will work for you, is YOU. A recovery coach may make suggestions and encourage you to explore options, but they don’t dictate a recovery pathway. They will support you as you explore your own version of recovery, and help you find what does and doesn’t work for you
You want to offer meaningful support, not just policies
Many organisations have policies on addiction or stress. Fewer have practical, human-first support that actually helps people recover. Coaching bridges that gap. It’s proactive, stigma-free, and deeply personal. It meets employees where they are and helps them take sustainable steps forward.
You’re ready to invest in your people’s long-term wellbeing
Coaching is not crisis management. It’s an investment in people’s growth, resilience, and recovery. It takes time, commitment, and a willingness to believe that people can change – and that they deserve the space to do so.
